"IT COULD HAVE BEEN ME"
Today is the only day we have. We cannot do anything about our past, and we don't know what the future holds. Yet, we can live up to our potential right now.
God sees your acts of kindness and mercy. The Bible tells us to "aim to show kindness and seek to do good to others." These are action words. They are proactive, not passive. Keep your heart of compassion open. We must never forget it could have been me sleeping in the streets, homeless, addicted to drugs or alcohol or abuse, selling yourself to the highest bidder, hungry, lonely, angry, depressed.
Be careful not to look down on a woman or man that has less than you do.
